The 2016 Ford Explorer - Love it or Hate it?

While I'm personally a bigger fan of the Explorer before the latest facelift for 2016, I still think Ford is doing a great job with adding new features that buyers and enthusiasts have been requesting on the 2016 Ford Explorer.

They are:

  • LED lighting and taillights, including LED low beams.
  • Black, body-color, satin-chrome, and high-gloss black mirror caps depending on your model.
  • Rain-sensing wipers on the Limited and Platinum.
  • Auxiliary climate control for those seated in the rear.
  • Modern grille with a muscled body makeover and modern headlights.
  • Four 12V power outlets, in addition to a 110V power outlet in the Platinum model.
  • Front and rear scuff plates with Explorer badging.
  • Heated steering wheel .
  • Lane departure warning available on Limited and Platinum models, in addition to reverse sensing system standard on all models except the basic Explorer.
  • Leather shift knob, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather-trimmed seats.
